Wedding Inspiration

Here's a great wedding inspiration:
Angela and Colby's beautiful wedding, www.wickedlyscarlett.com, took place at the White Oak Plantation in Lousiana, proving to be a beautiful, unique and intimate ceremony.
Angela opted for an antique and almost golden wedding dress, adorned with an empire-waistline taupe satin sash, just a tad darker than her dress. I love the neckline of her dress. It's so unique because there are so many elements going on at the top of the gown that make it so great. First, it's gathered above the ribbon. Then beautiful leaf-shaped beads line the top edge of the dress.

Then, beautiful and delicate pearly antique beadwork was sewn above the ribbon and onto the waistline of the strapless dress. The bottom of the silk dress ballooned out in a mermaid style. Nothing was too overpowering about the dress. Classic shapes melded with a beautiful yet simple beading overlay and ribbon, and yet balanced with a plain bottom half.
Angela's hair echoed the classic bride.

She came down the aisle with a lace-sewn mantilla veil that matched her gown color and string of pearls perfectly! A delicate white rose was seen through her veil. Her hair was swept to the side with curls in a low ponytail decorated by a white rose, better seen when she took off her veil at the reception.

The reception was classic, with fall colors in huge ornate centerpieces, chandeliers and chivalry in the air. A beautiful big bridal party, lots of guests and traditions echo the formality of Angela and Colby's wedding.
